Amy Eubanks Perkins has actively practiced as a civil litigator since earning her law license in 1994. Her background includes various areas of civil litigation, including governmental, tort, employment, and family law. Amy graduated from University of Texas at Austin with a Bachelor's degree in Sociology and Government in 1990 and St. Mary's University Law School in 1994. After clerking at various law firms, she practiced three years as an Associate with Brock & Person focusing on insurance defense cases. Amy then served over nine years as Assistant City Attorney for the City of San Antonio in the Litigation Division participating in trials and appeals in a wide variety of civil matters. Amy then hung her shingle as a solo practitioner in 2006. Amy and Jennifer met in 2008 and eventually formed Perkins & Janis in 2011. Amy has been active in Paralegal education since 1999 with the UTSA Paralegal Certificate Program; formerly serving as the Director and Instructor for ethics, legal research and civil litigation. Amy is licensed to practice in the United States Supreme Court, Fifth Circuit, Western District of Texas and the State of Texas. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her family.
